Enprise Group celebrates 10 years on NZX
Enprise Group (NZX: ENS) recently celebrated a milestone 10 years listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX).
On the morning of 28 November 2024, Enprise Group’s Board of Directors and several staff gathered at the NZX offices in Auckland’s CBD to mark the occasion, nearly 10 years to the day, that Enprise Group listed on the NZX Alternative Market on 1 December 2014.
On hand to ‘ring the bell’ and open the day’s trading for NZX were Enprise Group Managing Director, Ronnie Baskind; Executive Director, Elliot Cooper; Non-Executive Director, Aaron Ridgway; and Chairperson, Nick Paul (Lindsay Phillips absent). Also present were several staff members from Kilimanjaro Consulting, including Murray Dudding, Sarah Loveys and Sam Lewis-Roberts – who were present at Enprise Group’s listing in 2014 – and Grant Harwood, Izabela Dacewicz, and Andrew Wilkinson.

“This is a fantastic milestone for Enprise Group and well worth celebrating,” says Enprise Group Chairperson, Nick Paul. “It pays testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the Enprise Group stable of companies.
“When we listed in December 2014, Mark Loveys, who was Enprise Group CEO at the time, said that the Group’s strategy was to be the leading MYOB reseller across the Asia Pacific region for both MYOB Exo and the soon-to-be-launched MYOB Advanced, and we would continue to acquire suitable assets and promote organic growth in pursuit of that goal.
“10 years later, I am proud to say that we have succeeded in achieving that goal, and more. The Enprise Group has grown substantially. We’ve seen much change, faced down inevitable challenges and today have plenty of forward momentum as we look to the future. Enprise Group has a demonstrably strong record in building profitable, successful businesses and that is in part because we’ve been deliberate about diversifying into SaaS businesses that ‘play well together’, enabling us to benefit from the synergies of working together in the same market. We currently have five companies in the Group and we’re very excited to continue on their growth journeys with them.”
The five companies Enprise Group is currently invested in are:
Datagate Innovation Limited (Datagate), a cloud telecom billing software solution designed for MSPs and UCaaS providers based in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, UK and Europe. Datagate integrates with popular PSAs, tax engines, and accounting systems. Enprise Group holds 32.40% of Datagate. This is a Joint Venture.
iSell Pty Limited (iSell), a seller of cloud-based quoting systems (ITQuoter) under a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model used by the IT reseller market in Australia, New Zealand, UK and South Africa. iSell is an operating division of Enprise Group and the Group has a controlling stake (72.51%) in the business.
Kilimanjaro Consulting, a specialist ERP implementation and support consultancy for MYOB enterprise software solutions in Australia and New Zealand. Kilimanjaro Consulting is the largest entity in the Group and the main revenue contributor. There are 11 offices and 120 people across Australia and New Zealand. Kilimanjaro Consulting is MYOB’s leading and largest partner in Australasia. It is a wholly owned operating division of Enprise Group.
RECIPE marketing, a marketing consultancy and HubSpot Platinum Solutions Partner practice, specialising in strategic consulting and advanced application solutions for front-office management and revenue operations. Acquired by Kilimanjaro Consulting in August 2024, RECIPE marketing is the Group’s most recent investment. Kilimanjaro Consulting holds a 52% share in RECIPE marketing.
Vadacom Holdings Limited (Vadacom). Enprise Group has an investment in Vadacom, a Unified Communications and VOIP company, which services primarily the New Zealand market but with opportunities in the international market as well. Enprise Group has a 6.35%investment in Vadacom.
Enprise Group's strategy for its investments is to unlock mutual synergies to accelerate growth for all companies in the Group.
Datagate and iSell both target the same Managed Service Provider market and can link their sales and marketing functions to give each other sales introductions.
Kilimanjaro Consulting leverages cloud skills and infrastructure resources across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Vadacom and Kilimanjaro Consulting share a significant number of customers and have a similar target market.
Kilimanjaro Consulting and RECIPE marketing operate in the same market tiers and verticals and there are opportunities for both companies to cross sell services and solutions into their existing client bases and cross-utilise skills. RECIPE marketing offers expertise in strategic consulting and advanced application solutions designed to optimise front-office management and revenue operations. The partnership allows Kilimanjaro Consulting to offer even more comprehensive solutions, integrating both front-office and back-office functions across customer-facing and operational systems.
“The synergy between Kilimanjaro’s ERP expertise and RECIPE marketing’s mastery of CRM and customer lifecycle management creates a powerful service offering that addresses the full spectrum of business needs for all of our clients,” says Ronnie Baskind, Enprise Group Managing Director and CEO of Kilimanjaro Consulting.

Annual shareholders’ meeting: laying groundwork and focusing on the future
Speaking at the Enprise Group Annual Shareholders Meeting on 27 November 2024, Nick Paul shared the highlights of FY2024 and outlined the Group’s focus for the future.

A couple of challenging years meant that Enprise Group spent the last 12 months focussing on growing and stabilising its investments, boosting profitability and strengthening corporate governance and compliance.
Nick Paul says that this focus has borne fruit: “Thanks to incredible work across our teams, we have made strong progress on all these initiatives, resulting in a much improved position now, relative to where we were at a year ago.”
Looking to the future, Nick Paul says the Enprise Group board is committed to ensuring that the Group continues to build on the improved results delivered during FY2024.
“We will continue to focus on maintaining and growing Enprise Group’s profitability; further strengthen our corporate governance and compliance; and supporting growth within the subsidiary companies, Datagate’s growth in its existing and new markets, and for iSell we have invested in stabilising them and helping them transition from an on-premise model to a SaaS model, now we will support them in getting to break-even status,” he says.
The next 10 years
The next 10 years for Enprise Group are looking very bright. Nick Paul is enthusiastic about the growth potential in all aspects of the business: “Enprise Group as a whole has proven its resilience, and we are now looking forward to stepping the business up to the next level,” he says. “iSell and Datagate have done significant work to position themselves for growth and we are looking forward to going on the journey with them. For Kilimanjaro Consulting, we have built a strong platform to take the business to the next level. With Acumatica widely considered as the leading cloud ERP system in the mid-market space, we believe that there is a huge opportunity for Kilimanjaro Consulting, as MYOB’s leading channel partner in Australasia, to grow in this market and we are seeing this part of the business growing rapidly.
“It has become very clear that in Kilimanjaro Consulting, we have a business that is outstanding in its ability to deliver business productivity improvements to mid-size clients. We will continue to invest in this capability through our people, products and technology and we see a very strong future for the business,” Nick Paul says.
Recently, Nick Paul and Ronnie Baskind sat down with the NZX to share their thoughts on the Group’s journey and development, its investments, company culture and outlook for the future. You can watch the video below.
